As of late 2018, Downloads of iPad and iPhone software for remote viewing are no longer available on Apple's iTunes App store. In 2018 the Monsoon Website was suddenly closed with no placeholder left to advise of closure, and the company's central server (which coordinated all remote access to Hava and Vulkano devices), ceased to respond at the company IP address coded in the device firmware and remote viewing software. The HAVA device also worked as a TV tuner for -enabled PCs without being directly connected to a video source. It’s crazily inexpensive at 99 and I’ve seen it at Amazon for 88. You can view and record on the PC and Mac and it has wireless N built in as well as Ethernet. The devices allowed a PC to operate as a with pause, fast forward and rewind functions. It has clients for PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Blackberry, and Android. Ahead of Monsoon Multimedia actually shipping the Vulkano God Box later this month, their iPhone/iPad client has landed in Apple’s app storefront.Vulkano is the successor to Monsoon’s Slingbox-esque HAVA, and I suspect the new Vulkano Mobile app (v1.2.101) is an enhanced version of HAVA Mobile (v1.1.28) to now support the iPad and iOS4.
